STEP ONE - INTERIOR DESIGN CONSULTATION

We begin the design process with a meeting in your home or at our office to get a sense of your project needs, budget, and timeline. If we are in your project space we will likely take pictures, gather preliminary measurements, and take notes. We are all ears! This first meeting is very important as we are there to listen to your ideas and desires for your project. The more thorough you can be the better we will be able to provide a design contract that best suits your project. At Shotgun, we are committed to making your design goals a reality. It’s all about you.

What we will need from you for this initial meeting: your likes and dislikes, images that express your style and vision are also a great help to us. Houzz, Pinterest and magazines are a great go-to!

Hi, lovely to meet you!

STEP TWO - DESIGN PROPOSAL

To the drawing board

We will present you with a proposal tailored to the breadth of work as determined during our initial meeting. This proposal will outline our scope of work and is often structured as a “fixed fee” or “hourly rate”. As Interior Designers, we work on projects big and small from paint consultations, lighting design, design-in-a-box, to design concept development, new construction and FF&E specifications. Different projects require specialized attention and we are very flexible in working with you to find the plan that will best work for you and your budget.

STEP THREE - DESIGN DEVELOPMENT & PRESENTATION

Working our magic

During your design presentation, you will be presented with a complete and detailed furnished floor plan. We will also include material and furniture selections, samples, and renderings to illustrate the finished product.

STEP FOUR - PROCUREMENT & INSTALLMENT

Welcome home

Depending on the scope of the project we provide our services of procuring all materials, facilitating storage and delivery as well as installing everything into place. We work with your contractors during the construction process by fielding questions and making site visits. All aspects of the work are managed to ensure a smooth process that yields the desired results.

Another option for our clients is Design-In- A-Box. This allows you to take the plan and purchase items through Shotgun and on your own allowing you the freedom to work out the plan at your own pace. There is great value and a sense of relief in knowing that you have a complete roadmap for your project and won’t have to continually reinvent the wheel every time you are ready to work on another aspect of your project.
